What is EMS?

EMS technology has been used for years. It was initially developed for NASA to be used by astronauts so they would not suffer from muscle dystrophy while up in space. Since then, European Olympic teams have used the technology to enhance performance when training their athletes. Professional athletes, bodybuilders, and many in the health and beauty industry have recognized its proven ability to strengthen muscles and create results with slimming and toning.

What is Infratherapy?

The Slimwave program includes a powerful Infra-red treatment resulting in the improvement and reduction of visible cellulite and detoxification through the lymphatic system. One of the top causes of cellulite is toxin buildup within the body as this causes swelling, which in turn causes dimpling. As you relax in the "surround-sound" heat, being provided by the infrared wrap system, your body is hard at work, producing sweat, pumping blood, and burning calories. According to The Journal of the American Medical Association, in a single infrared wrap session, you may burn as many calories as you would rowing or jogging for 30 minutes. The heat that it creates will help increase a person's metabolism for the next 24 to 36 hours. You burn calories during your wrap, and for at least a day to a day and a half afterwards! The infra-red treatment used during the Slimwave session quickly warms up the muscles, cells and organs. Thermo lipolysis occurs (the body is forced to spend its stock of excess fat and water reserves), blood circulation is improved, the blood vessels in the cells are widened, and lymphatic drainage occurs, allowing the excess fluid to flush out of your system.
